What about the other end, has anyone raised to a 20 or 21 on the front,
or 42 or 41 on the rear. It is not that I want to do 155mph, but maybe
get better gas mileage commuting at 70 or 80.

I just ordered a chain and a new pair of sprockets for my 01. At 18k
miles
the stock chain has had it. I ordered up a Triumph brand 17 tooth
counter
sprocket, thinking that I'd go for a little more acceleration at the
expense
of top speed since I don't ride at 155mph very often. Anyway, I thought
OEM
was an 18 tooth, but it looks like it's 19 based on the FAQ. Has anyone
dropped down two teeth on the front? If so, what are your impressions?
Any
problems? Big drop in gas mileage? I'm keeping 43 on the rear. If
it's
too radical of a change, I guess I can always go for the 18 later.
Thanks for the help,
John in NJ
