RE: [ST] Yahoogroups

Is this on another subject? It doesn't impact whether or not to use
yahoogroups. Yahoogroups will deliver to any email address, so you
don't need to use a yahoo address for the group. So whatever method you
choose to get email currently, is unaffected.

For those of you (like me) that prefer to use their favourite email
client software to manage/automate all their email using a single
interface, here's something to consider.

Yahoo offers POP3 support, but if your Yahoo email is @yahoo.com, then
you have to pay for this option. My Yahoo address is @yahoo.ca, and
POP3 support is included for free. Furthermore it appears that it is
not easy (perhaps not possible) to move the address from one to the
other if it's one you'd like to keep using.
