Dave, I would like to apologize to you, specifically, and to anyone on the
list whom I insulted with my "language". I hope you will see it through and
stay on the list. My comments were meant sarcastically, to a point, but I
should have used better judgment in the language that I chose. I guess I've
spent too much time on ADVrider, heck I musta thought I was posting in Jo
Momma!!

But after a being gone about 28 hours (yes, actual riding a Motorcycle!) I
come home to find over 150 messages in my sprint folder. At first I thought
"cool" a lot of "motorcycle" talk. It took me two scotch on the rocks to
get thru all that drivel. And then I realize that the instigator hasn't
even put in a trip on our beloved Steeds? This was more then my brain could
stand, so I went off.......

Emile, I guess I gotta apologize to you as well. I ain't got no right to
hurl the "f" word around like that. But Dude, really, you need to chill out
on the posting, go buy a Sprint, RIDE the damn thing for a while, see if you
really like the bike, and then get back to us. Heck, in a month or two you
may decide it ain't the right bike for you and move on down the road. There
are plenty of folks around here that care very much about this list, they
ain't gonna let it go away.

To everyone, I apologize for my lack of civility, won't happen again. Let's
keep this "family" functional. After all, we all have a new "baby" on the
way........... the '05's should be available soon! Then just think of all
the newbie's we will have, and the stories they will have to tell !!

Cheers!

and "Peace"
