RE: [ST] A few requests (cross posted on yahoo and triumphnet)

Boy Emile, you made the fatal mistake of copping to riding a scooter. I kind of guessed you might get the response that you got.

So, I haven't read all of the details of the ensuing mail-storm, nor do I intend to, but it is fair criticism for Emile to join the list, be a part of it for a while, and then make some suggestions that will drastically change this community.

If you did go out and start a new list, then, by all means, run it, but don't expect us to necessarily come running over to your yahoo list.

On the other hand, Emile does make some fair criticism. You can't beat yahoo for ease of use, and administration. I think it is great, Rupert, that you are willing to take over admin for the list and web site. But then all the new 2005 owners who are apt to be coming down the pike, that' great, but with them there will be tons of new tid-bits of info that will need to be posted. And if it winds up being too much for one guy to manage, maybe it would be better to look into Yahoo as an option.

Anyway, that's my two cents.
