[ST] Any suggestions?

Ok, it's been a while since I posted but I still lurk quite a bit. (For the
record the whole yahoo thing is a PITA and was suspect from the beginning)
I changed jobs twice moving from Milwaukee to Philadelphia and now to
Minneapolis. That plus an unfortunate work accident involving my left index
finger, a jumpy miter saw and a skin graft hasn't left much time for riding in
the last year.

My latest question, if any of you remember me and my history with this bike
you'll certainly think it's me by now and not the bike. But the mechanics tell
me I'm not makin' it up.

Before I left Milwaukee I had the bike in because it was running rough and
getting crappy mileage, they aknowledged the rough running and the factory fix
was to load the high performance tune into the bike. That stopped the rough
running but the mileage was/is still crappy.

At the beginning of last summer I had a pretty thourough 12k service in
Philadelphia where I explained previous troubles and they said they would look
at the situation. Nothing was solved. They must have loaded the latest regular
tune because the rough running is back and I still averaged only 35 US MPG's.

I know this bike can run better than this. I know it can get 45 to 50 MPG's.
While it was under warranty I believe Triumph wouldn't authorize putting the
time in to properly trouble shoot the problem so they found the high
performance tune solution and that was that.

Now I'd like it fixed. The problem is that to notice the rough running you have
to be riding it with it thouroughly warmed up. I'm in the frozen northland of
Minneapolis and I wonder if I take it in can they really do anything. I really
don't want to wait until Spring when the shop will be swamped, I don't want a
different bike, and I want to actually ride it this summer. Any
thoughts/suggestions......?
