RE: [ST] Scotch

Of the last 10 years at Christmastime, I've often gifted my brother with
single malt Scotches. This year, I'd sampled a few from Macallan during a
cigar bar event. Wow, their 18 year old one blew me away, and I'm no Scotch
aficionado. I've got my brother some other Highland and Speyside choices.
Some I find too "peaty", but that Macallan was incredible.

Like good beers, Scotch is an aquired taste, but like fine cigars, a taste
some will never "get". As for beers, I cannot fathom how some people can
latch onto something like "Bud Light" when we have Guinness, Samuel Adams,
and so many better micro brews with TASTE of their own, rather than lending
a whiff to what is water.

My preference, gimme a Padron 40th Anniversary, a Sam Adams Winter Lager,
and my Barcolounger...that's my non-motorized heaven.
