I and a few others have put sidecars on Bonnies. Mine is a Watsonian and
the others are Motorvation. Both look very nice. I was torn between the
two and decided that little extra money for the Watsonian was worth it.
I've seen pictures of the Thunderbird/Watsonian and it is very nice too.
I also saw a Tiger with a Velorex sidecar at the Allegheny RAT Raid last
year. That would give you a good bit more power than the Bonnie.
To get you started look at www.pashnit.com/bikes/sidecar.htm and
www.sidecar.com for pictures of some set-ups. Sidecar.com also has a forum.
Also try the Evergreen Safety Counsel, they are the administrators for some
individuals and states that offer sidecar training classes around the US. I
took a class with Vic Hari in Illinois to see if I wanted to do it before I
spent the money. After flying the car down the tarmac I couldn't get the
smile off for a week.
