RE: [ST] Time for a new clutch cable?



Looks like it's just a stress reliever to make the bend from the lever
down under the steering head.  I can see where there might be some extra
resistance created by the missing bend, but no worse than my old Hawk,
which has gone 30k on the same cable without incident.  However, I am
now seriously considering a spare for the trunk.  Installation was a
breeze, easiest one ever.  Didn't even have to take the side panel off.

    I did not transfer it on my bike. It seems to work just fine without

it. In fact I'm not quite sure what its purpose is.
