RE: [ST] What's the Sprint's current competition?

On my last long ride a guy came along on his K1200S.

I was seriously impressed with this beastie. Not only it has power to blow most things on two wheels into the weeds, but it has ABS, shaft drive and electronic suspension control, which is a very useful extra.

It sounds good fitted with the Remus (BMW approved) pipe.

I've been told that through the fast bumpy-twisty stuff even an idiot (like myself) can outride most guys on serious Sport bikes, the suspension is that forgiving.

The bike, with that nifty hossack suspension, does almost everything for you except wipe your nose!

The only problem is its price here, a good 40% more than the new ST1050. Also, it doesn't have "Triumph" on the tank, just some daft propeller thingy.............

cheers
