RE: [ST] Front sprocket nut.

On my 2000 RS, I borrowed/used a 1-7/16" socket.

You need to place the socket on the sprocket and give a big push. That sucka is on tight. I used a 3 ft pipe, sat on the bike, and applying the front and rear brakes (with the bike in top gear) pushed real hard.

Same thing when putting it on, except your're pulling real hard listening for that torque click. It's llike 110 ft-lbs or something.

Subject: [ST] Front sprocket nut.

Does anyone know the size of the nut that holds on the front sprocket on the
ST?

Normally I'd just nip outside and look but the bikes with the painters at
the moment so I don't have access.

Thanks,
Howlin'
