[ST] Re: RS, still too high

Baz

I toyed with fork height and thick boots and such for nearly 4 years to compensate for seat height. But after two 0 mph drops in quick succession, the second in front of a huge laughing crowd (at least that's how if felt), I bit the bullet and bought a lowered Hagon shock. It needed a new shock anyway (if you're coming up to 30,000 then yours will too). They made it to spec 1" lower for me - and it has made all the difference. Since fitting it I've been able to paddle about confidently, and NO more embarrassing incidents! And although the tips of my boots probably do contact the road a little more often on bends, the lower ride height hasn't cramped the handling or my style at all.

Hagon actually used my bike to design their first RS shock, so now have the specs. Mine is fairly soft and comfy and toury but they'll set one up to be more sporting, IF you think that's what you need. You can find them at:
