RE: [ST] Showa Rear Shock Rebuild

Lindeman Engineering in Ca can rebuild the shock. I sent mine down to have
a new spring installed. While they were working on it I asked if they could
rebuild it. They said it would cost about $250 plus an additional charge to
install a Schrader valve. I decided to buy a better shock instead.

Subject: [ST] Showa Rear Shock Rebuild

Hi all,
I don't want to start another shock thread here, but I would like to
know if anyone knows if the stock Showa rear shock for an ST can be
rebuilt and if so by whom? I am really not intrested in other brands and
if they will fit.
Could not find anything in the archives.
Thanks,
