[ST] The more things change, the more they stay the same

I used to be on a few Beemer mailing lists while I had my F650.

There were no end of little irritations and problems that affect the F & GS singles, some of which the dealers seemed unaware of. That's what happens when Italians sport bike builders make bikes for Bavarians - bit of a clash between "style for the sake of it" and "function above all else."

It amazes me that the factories/ dealer principals pay no attention to these lists, they are a huge source of info on common problems and irritations, in no time at all they could be rectified at factory level.

I've picked up lots already- thanks to all concerned.

Stuff that comes up often on this list should end up in FAQ lists on the factory web site.

Maybe Triumph could start a new trend ? Great marketing idea for them.

cheers
