RE: [ST] Risers and heated grips

Jeremy,
I'd follow Mike's advice. I just sold my genmar risers
because I found I didn't need them. I was in exactly the same
boat as you and bought the risers after riding my Sprint for
only a couple weeks. However, I didn't put them on right
away because on the '99, you need to replace the brake line
and I didn't have time to install/bleed the line then.
Figured I'd give it a bit more time and once you start
building up those muscles, you stop putting weight on your
wrists and all is good. But, like any ergos, YMMV.

BTW, hey, Don did you get those risers installed?

>Maybe, but the numb hands and sore wrists I get from
supporting too much weight on the bars, on this and other
bikes, sends me running for risers! Even my Hawk with VFR
bars was more comfy than this. Maybe it's the angle. I
haven't looked, can the bars be rotated back toward the rider?
