Nice work on the engine!

BTW - I don't think a 56 is strong enough for an 18....

Subject: [ST] It's alive!!!

After 9 months sitting in my garage, my ST is up and running, thanks to a motor out of an 00 RS that I got on eBay. The RS had it's plastic fuel fittings leak, caught fire, melted the airbox, some wiring, and some hoses.
I bought the "long block" for $500 plus $100 shipping.
My 99 ST needed a head ($1700), 12 valves at $45 each, plus a gasket set, and who knows what else.
Now I have a 6,000 mile motor in a 41,000 mile frame......yes Matt, I got it to fit. Still working on the 56 into an 18, but that's another story.
