RE: [ST] Laguna MotoGP - Where's the two strokes?

<<
FWIW - I think AMA *used* to be a GREAT series. Now it's crap thanks
to the AMA screwing with the rules all the time.
>>

I disagree - the basic reconfiguration of the rules was for the better.
Now superbike is running 1000cc - bring the configuration you choose
(V-twin, 4-cylinder). Also, it has brought the spirit of the racing
back to where it should be - that is, the bikes that we can purchase are
what we see on the track. It was getting too far away from that. And
that's what MotoGP is for - build the baddest thing you can and race it.
Superbike is so we can see and relate to what we ride. NASCRAP should
take a page from this book - NASCAR should actually have what we can buy
(Dodge Chargers, Ford Mustangs, whatever), and F1/CART being the build
the baddest thing you can and race it.

I haven't been a fan of Formula Extreme so far, but Supersport has been
awesomingly entertaining.
