FWIW - I think AMA *used* to be a GREAT series. Now it's crap thanks to
the AMA screwing with the rules all the time.

I disagree - the basic reconfiguration of the rules was for the better.
Now superbike is running 1000cc - bring the configuration you choose
(V-twin, 4-cylinder). Also, it has brought the spirit of the racing back
to where it should be - that is, the bikes that we can purchase are what
we see on the track. It was getting too far away from that. And that's
what MotoGP is for - build the baddest thing you can and race it.
Superbike is so we can see and relate to what we ride. NASCRAP should
take a page from this book - NASCAR should actually have what we can buy
(Dodge Chargers, Ford Mustangs, whatever), and F1/CART being the build the
baddest thing you can and race it.

I haven't been a fan of Formula Extreme so far, but Supersport has been
awesomingly entertaining.

Matt Heyer

The SC in NASCRAP is meant to stand for "Stock Car" - the fact that they
have stick on lights just about sums up this total and utter travesty they
call "racing". It's *only* intent is to provide mobile bill boards that
gullible people can watch, and buy tasteless and tacky crap to show their
support - NASCRAP (pun oh so intended) underpants anybody ?

Yes I know other motor sports have advertising (before you jump down my
throat) but F1, for example, *is* the pinnacle of motor sport and the
advertising just pays for it. In NASCRAP, total reverse. NASCRAP =
Hardley Moving = crap :)

YMM of course V
