I really like the Triumph bag. It's very roomy and well designed and fits snuggly on the tank. It's quite waterproof as well without the rain cover and the zippers are strong. It looks big when full but it has never bothered me when riding.

It's not really portable even if it comes with a strap. When traveling, I carry an empty lightly padded backpack to carry the tank bag around when walking.

Otherwise, I've had several Bagster (Baglux your side of the pond) tank bags on previous bikes and was satisfied with them. You have to buy the tank wrapping cover with it. But the Triumph tank bag is a good bargain considering the overall quality.

You're aware of course than magnetic tank bags won't fit on the ST....

Hi

I hope this isn't another tyre choice type thread. Apologies if so...

Anyone got recommendations on a tank bag for my ST'03. The standard
Triumph version retails here for a shade under £100 apparently. Seems
alot, but I guess it is all relative but to what I'm not sure. I'm off
for three long trips this summer and need something robust but
practical. Also something that is vaguely portable when off the bike
would be good too.
