we should be careful not to confuse WARRANTY work (which is stuff that =
Triumph does FOR FREE because something's defective) with MAINTENANCE =
work which is required during and after the warranty period (and which =
Triumph will always charge for).

a valve adjust at 12K is not warranty work, nor does Triumph have to do =
it

  Peter Corleo at Triumph in Atlanta and I'll swear that his
  line is that you will be excommunicated from the Triumph church if you
  even look at screw driver.  He did not come out and say it directly =
but he
  tried to tell me that if I did any work myself that my warrantee would =
be
  revoked.

  Now wait a minute......does this mean that if I perform the 12K valve =
adjustment on my 03 ST it will void my warranty??    I'm no slouch of a =
mechanic (trying hard not to break my arm patting myself on the back) =
having performed all the scheduled maintanence  on my 95 Trophy 1200, =
87K and still going strong.
