RE: [ST] new helmets

Zoltan, we have two Scorpion helmets now, both the 700s. I have a friend
with a 400. The fit is identical between them, only the helmet composition
differs. 

I really like the Scorpion, it fits better than any helmet I have had and it
does not try to rise on my head like my Shoei did. I will never go back to a
helmet that does not have anti-fog shields. I can still build up a little
moisture from time to time but it will not fog. Also, the replacement
shields are reasonably priced - $30 to $35 each compared to $60+ for my
Shoei shields. 

The helmet is reasonably quiet also. I believe it is a little quieter than
the Shoei. The shield swapping is faster than on the Shoei, which was the
fastest I have seen until now. I can swap out the shields without taking my
gloves or helmet off. Snap and pop! 

The liner is very comfortable also. I have 0 hair so no protection, some
helmets cause rashes. So far this has not been an issue with the Scorpion. 

I bought this helmet in December at the Long Beach MC show, and have about
6000 miles on it now. I really love it. I was somewhat apprehensive based on
the 200.00 price, but so far it has been a great deal.

I'm shopping for a new helmet, so this is the right time to hear everyone's
opinion. Currently I have a three year old HJC CL-12 which is ok for the
price. Kind of heavy and noisy and fogs up easily (time to buy a new
helmet). So far I tried Suomy, just couldn't make it work. (I have a bowling
ball for a head) Icon was OK, Schuberth didn't work for me either, HJC CL-14
OK, Arai great but 600$? I heard great reviews by webbikeworld and
harborhelmets about the new SCORPION EXO 700. I wasn't able to get a hold of
one yet and 200$ is a great price if they deliver what they advertise. So
anybody out there who has one or tried one on???
