Re: [ST] poor performance on second start



The next time it happens, just turn the key off and re-start.  Let us
know if you ever have an instance where this does NOT cure the symptom.

Also, did you ever indicate how often you have this problem?

It seems to me that this problem was limited to early Sprints (99-01)
and typically the problem would go away on it's own after a reasonable
number of miles (I take it the bike in question has lots of miles?).

Wasn't there something that was suspected of sticking (IACV)?  I only
ever had this happen a few times on my '99 ST.  But only ever happened
after the bike was shut down and re-started after a SHORT initial run,
just like you described.  The symptom disappeared on it's own.  Seems to
me that there was even talk that it might be even have been a problem
associated with one or more older ECU tunes too.  I don't think this was
ever confirmed however.
