Honestly I only used them once and it was a bright sunny day.  So I'm not
sure how water resistant they are, not to mention I typically don't ride in
the rain.

The day I rode with them on it was quite windy and the bike seemed to almost
be "buffeting" with the bags on.  I think I rode approximately 80 MPH for
about 20 miles with wind gusts of 25-30 MPH head on.

They are extremely easy to get off..it takes about 3-5 seconds per bag.
There are two quick release fasteners on the tops of each bag. Once those
are released the bags basically fall off the bike.  There is an additional
strap on the front of each bag that will need to be unhooked as well but
that should take about 1-2 seconds.

Even though I only rode with them once they appear to be very well made and
very useful for carrying quite a bit of gear.

Other than that..they seem to be pretty well made, I did not have a pillion
on the bike when I rode with them on.  One thing that I would kind of be
concerned about is after riding a long ride with a pillion their rear might
get sore rather quickly due to the quick release straps on top of the seat
pad.
