The horn not working is the same problem, as the clutch switch and horn
share a common earth return.
BTW, when I said 'repayment' I meant 'replacement'! I think the
spill-chicker may have intervened.

I seem to remember trying the horn once during my testing,

The left-bar loom problem is that the return wire for horn
and clutch
switch have a crimped join halfway down the loom so that it
breaks after
'n' turns of the bars.
You need to run a repayment wire that has its join in a less
stressful
position as that loom will always get physical activity.
IIRC it's a
black wire.
Check that the horn doesn't work either.
