Matt,

I'm with you, to me a "power-slide" is sliding under power, or what I've heard referred to as "spinning it up" on the exit from a corner. I don't think that backing it into a corner ala dirt-track-style would be considered a power-slide. I've been known to be wrong before though.

Either way I'd rather do neither while I was riding :).
