Re: [ST] Coolant Question

Seeing as how you've had a number of replies, I would say don't take
'anti-freeze' for granted. There is quite a lot of technology in there
to prevent build-up of thermal-insulation and prevent corrosion within
steel/alloy engines. It's not just there to lower the freezing-point.

I haven't done my RS yet but it's always worth a flush while it's empty
to remove any solids.

I want to replace the coolant on my '99 Sprint. It ought to be a
fairly straightforward job but I'd like to hear from anyone who has
actually done it. Is there a preferred coolant for this bike? Did you

flush the radiator before adding the new coolant? Torque value for
the drain plug? Thanks GC
