Rod,
There should be no problem running 125mm.  To a point, the higher the
oil level, the more you get a rising rate effect as the remaining air
compresses with fork travel.  I've tried as high as 120mm but felt
there was a (slight) tendency for the forks to hydro lock at that
level - this can blow out fork seals -, so I backed it off to 125mm.
I've run this way for about 2 years, before and after adding the race
tech bits, with no problems.

'01 Sprint ST

that emulator is like 12mm thick and the service manual says 145mm so
my
totally out to lunch reasoning would say 130mm should be closer.  Any
thoughts? <
