Rod -

Glad to hear everything is back together and working well.  I would have 
responded to your earlier e-mails but I've been off-line since late Thursday.

I can't judge the ST forks w/o emulators since I put them in when I did the 
springs but they made a big difference in my Hawk.  I actually had two 
Hawks for a while, one completely stock and the other with RT springs which 
later got emulators too.  It wasn't a huge difference once I added the 
emulators but I could detect a difference.  But then again it might also 
have been because I used a heavier oil when I added them.  I mixed equal 
parts of 10 & 15w.  The combination seems to fit my riding style both on 
and off the track perfectly.
