Re: [ST] RE: Passing a Harley

Passing an HD is one of the most dangerous events that take place on the
highway. That's because most of them are driven by inexperienced riders.
You ever watch those guys???? They make the Keystone Cops look organized.
There are a lot of excellent, experienced HD riders, but the HD moron on
wheels factor has to be higher than any other type of motor vehicle. If
you think passing onezy twozys is bad, try a pack of those rolling road
blocks. Nice thing about a Sprint, you can out turn'em, out accellerate
'em, and out stop'em (except when they run into something). I had a jug
head think he would have a race with me on NC28 going into Highlands, NC.
A very narrow, and very twisty road. The first two HD's just waved me by,
but this guy took off with a series of 20mph bends at the end of the short
straight. Sorry guys, I did have to drop to third to leave him in the
dust. As my hero, B. Bunny used to say, "what a maroon."
