re:[ST] leaded petrol question

I've had someone from the local Triumph agent suggest running a tank of leaded through my bike.

Leaded will kill your O2 sensor (if you have one) and your cathalytic converter (if you have one too).
Only St from 2001 onward have an O2 sensor. Converter is depending on the country.
