I found a  large chisel @ Home Depot that had the same size hex shank as the 
axle bolt. I  slide a box end wrench of the proper size over the shaft of the 
chisel and then  insert the shaft of the chisel into the axle. Works great and 
cost around  $10.00. (plus I can still use it as a chisel!)
