Re: [ST] Counter Rotating Brakes



FI is more complex than carbs in terms of its
interreliability with other systems. Carbs may have
more moving parts, but computer controled FI needs
more things to be right to work. If your charging
system is weak, or your battery low, you may very well
be out of luck. On a carberated bike, bump start it
and go. Its kinda like digital vs analog. I could cite
examples ad nausem, but the best analogy that comes to
mind is cell phones. Early on, analog cell phones had
poor reception when they were down on power or far
from a cell tower. But they still worked. Then they
came out with digital cell phones. They claimed better
performance, but in actuality, they either worked or
they didnt, and in marginal areas , where the  analog
phone sounded crappy, the didgtial simply would not
work. Sadly, they have made little improvement, buts
thats another thread...
