[ST] 05/06 Sprint Rear Damping

So I've meant to ask this question before.  A guy I ride with has an '05 and we were looking for the rear damping adjustment (which the book states it has, ans should be in the same place as the pre-05's).  However, we don't see it.  Neither can the dealer.  So the question is: does he have a bum bike, or is the book wrong and either it doesn't exist or is somewhere else?
