In the news today there's a new urban 'car' from nearby Bath University:

It's billed as a car but to me it looks almost as much fun as a bike. With the 'bonus' (for softies) of being out of the rain and so on. Only 60mph in the prototype, although I'm sure listers can think of ways to sort that!
