Was the KZ400 the 4 cyl version ?  If so I had one of those also back in
blighty (long long time ago).  Called Z400J over there - nice bike.

I'm guessing a late '70s Kawasaki 650? To think I lusted after one of 
those but had to settle for a KZ400 for my first bike.
