I remember back in the days leading up the purchasing decision and 
looking at the specs for both the Sprint and the VFR and noting how 
close they were as far as wheelbase, weight, single side swing arm, 
etc. and it was obvious what Triumph's target was. On paper the Sprint 
had that it was British and certainly rarer, since it wasn't even out 
yet. But it was a couple thousand more if I remember. I made a comment 
to my wife about how similar they both were and it would be tough to 
decide. She wisely said you'll know after you ride both. Boy was she 
right.

I guess that's why I'm still married to her after 25 years, she's one 
smart girl. Wait until I show you her design for the garage!
