Re: [ST] '06 ST Questions & The Old Road.

I tend to agree with you, Brett...I do not venture onto the Great Ocean Road or the Reefton Spur here in Victoria much these days, mainly because of the activities of the guided missile pilots...some of which are great at blasting past you at warp factor 9 on the straights, but as soon as a corner looms up, are hauling at their brakes and going all over the road. Their activities tend to attract police attention, as does their habit of pranging themeselves into the surrounding countryside. Don't get me wrong - I immensely enjoy having a fang over some of the twisty roads...but when you get overtaken on a blind bend by a Rossi wannabe, who then proceeds to decorate the front bumper of a Land Cruiser with his bike and himself...well, it does tend to put a damper on things.

Enjoy the Putty Road ride..I did it myself last year, and what a great ride it is. I hope to repeat it this year, on my way to the National Triumph Rally in Coffs Harbour.

Cheers
Tony
