Re: [ST] What's Wrong?

The secret is in the pricing structure: Take a perfectly good $7500 (US)
motorcycle, mark the price up to just shy of $20,000 and they will come.
The big bonus? When they come they are quite happy to buy things like
perfectly good $200 helmets for $325 because you've put your very own
brand decal on them..... Please, don't get me started. I'm the only sane
motorcyclist at my company. (Well almost, there is a guy with an '05
FJR. We get along pretty well.)

Take one 300kg motorcycle, add a wussy 60/ 70 hp motor, eliminate any
usable ground clearance , give it too much rake , add loooong forks,
useless front brake (has to be or it would wash the front out), fit a
really small tank, make the rider sit with his legs in front shaped like
a 'C'and hey presto:

A recipe for one of the most successfully selling bikes in history.

Go figure.............
