ah, but the article you pointed to talked of nothing but turbocharging

besides, turbo lag is virtually a thing of the past if the system is
properly engineered, and turbocharging is easier/cheaper to install
(supercharger is mechanically driven, usually off the primary I thought)

the main problems with turbocharging, as I understand, is that it uses
very HOT exhaust gases (which can damage intakes) and that it works best
with engines that have lower compression ratios to begin with
