Re: [ST] "Offroad exhaust" tune?



As has been stated, you need the Triumph performance tune loaded to get the
most out of the new can.

However, on the '99-'01 bikes you also need to have the CO level reset.
The bike will run OK with either tune but it'll be horrible without the CO
level set correctly. I 'think' it needs to be reset to 3%, perhaps someone
else can verify that figure.

On the '02 onwards the ECU can adjust the CO level by itself as it has a
lambda sensor in the exhaust that the earlier model lack.

2001 Sprint, recently acquired.  I just got/installed a Triumph  
carbon fiber "offroad" can for this bike.  Looks great, sounds nice,  
but I also picked up a nice big flat spot at 3000-3500rpm.
