Re: [ST] Pirelli Tires (was: Duncan)

You are doing much better than I am able to do on Pilot Roads. I averaged between 4,500 and 5,000 over 4 sets of rears. My fronts do more than double that but I change fronts with every other rear. I switched to Metzeler Z6's with similar results. My biggest compliant against both tires is the handling over the last 10-15% of the tires life. I find they tend to get nonlinear resulting in my poor turn in. Otherwise I like both tires in terms of handling. For comparision I only got about 3,000 miles out of BT020 rears. I ride on a wide variety of roads all up and down the east coast.
