Re: [ST] Heated Grips.. I know..

I might suggest trying the Gerbing heated gloves first. They are about the
same price, but you can take them anywhere, and more importantly, to another
bike. I found that my Triumph heated grips work great down to 40ish, but
below that, they just 'tease' my hands with elusive warmth (your
mileage may vary)

As least the gloves are heated on both sides of the hands, especially the
side that catches all the wind.

Ok, I finally rode a bike this past week in 40 degree weather with heated
grips and they are now on my "Must Have" list. Problem is, my ST is a 2000
model pre VIN 139203 part number A9638006. I was told by the local Triumph
dealer today they could not order these as they were obsolete. Hey, my bike
runs great, it's not obsolete!

Anyone on the list have any US sources for these grips that may have them in
stock? My google.com search has returned buckus!

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.. I checked into the HotGrips site but it
is a little sparse on pictures and details. Anyone with these that can
testify to their worthiness? Installation issues?

Thanks for the advice!
