Re: [ST] Sprint ABS

Matt
 I did'nt read it that closely !

I just get a little miffed at media which is so race biased when evaluating
what is after all a road bike !

But as you say , it does emphasize my point , so thanks.

If ABS was available on other bikes, I would consider it . Maybe in time ,
it will become standard , with non ABS as a option.

regards

Jon

I think if you read the data, you'd be surprised (and it is actually making
a case FOR your argument). The tests showed that even when a rider is
anticipating a hard stop, the ABS stops faster. So obviously the ABS would
be at least that much better in a real emergency when you are not
prepared....

As for these so called tests " with racers" .. IMO they are useless... ABS
is there for emergencies... in tests where riders KNOW they are trying to
brake without locking, how does that equate with real emergencies when you
are not " prepared ". Its utter tosh really.
