-you don't need the reinforcing brackets - those are for the top box.
-I would get the handle for getting the bike on the center stand.
-the turn signals will work, but will be flexed as the stalks for when you have the bags are just a bit shorter so that the blinkers fit in the cut-out in the rear of the bags.

Okay,
  So I bought some used bags from a lister for a song. They came with the mounting rails and the pipe adapter but not the reinforcing brackets, replacement grab handle and turn signal relocater brackets. Do I need to get all of these items to install the bags? Which ones if any are not essential?
