Thanks Martin, for your insight. I'm a bit confused though. You say your
'99 ST needed stiffer springs (I have a 2001, so I guess the same springs,
which now have 30.000 km on them as well) and you have the same weight.
Yet you say the stock springs should be fine for me?

Emulator is about the same (or more due to installation) costs as a
pair of springs. So far I've been getting mixed replies, but thinking
that the springs are an easier option (after measuring the sag and
playing a bit more with the settings and perhaps checking the oil
inside, which probably is thick mud now). Still grounded with a cold,
time enough though until the weather is nice enough for some real riding.
