Doesn't the fan keep running even when the ignition is off.
Mine would keep going for three or four minutes after shutting the bike down
but that was with using the ignition key to power down. Does the kill switch
kill the fan too?

It depends what '2' means.
2% CO level as measured by a Gas analyser is lean for a ST with performance
can fitted.
3% is the recommended level.
However the Gameboy has a trim level that is adjusted to set the CO level.
This number is relative, not absolute so one ST might need a trim value of 6
for 3% CO while another might need 2 for the same CO level.
It's the CO level that matters, not the Trim number in the Gameboy.
FWIW, I always adjusted the CO to 3% with the performance can and 1% with
the stock can. These values worked fine for me on my '99.
