Rik,
Let me clarify: That was 20,000, not 2000, and I meant for that shirt alone...I have about 5 or so shirts I where when I ride, several of which last only a year. The one I am refering to has 5 seasons on it, and gets worn at least one fifth of the time...
Not making any claims as a high mileage rider, certainly there are folks out there with several times my mileage.... My only point is that I have one shirt that has outlasted all others, and it was only marginally more expensive. So if you crack for a good shirt, you save money in the long run....kinda like the argument for buying a Snap-On or Craftsman tool versus one from Harbour Freight...
Now I've gone and done it...
:-)

Well over 20,00 miles in 5 years, my average is more like 35,000 per
year!!!!!
Over to you guys who make me look like kindergarten.

Sapphire Blue works for me....and I would also vote for embroidered rather
than silk screened or whatever they call the regular process...sure, it
costs more, but if you start with quality shirt you end up with a quality
riding jersey that will last for years as opposed to a T-shirt that will
have the image rub off after a couple of wearings under your riding jacket,
and then the following year is a good but expensive rag to clean your chain
with.... I have one "Tshirt" that was made with a quality shirt and the
design embroidered that has lasted 5 years and countless ( read well over
20,000 ) miles, and is still in good shape if a bit faded....
Just my 2 centavos...

Very versatile for riding!

So how about a list tee shirt.
I know a good artist who does a lot of tee shirt designs for bands. If
there was sufficient demand he would make a limited number. If theres
interest i could ask if hes interested.
How many list members are there? Assume 25% take up?
just a thought from a prospect! ; )
