Re: [ST] TYRE QUESTION

You will get varying opinions on this topic (like any motorcycle list and talk of tires), but two things have stood out to me over the years:

1 - a good number people have good things to say, and recommend the Avon tires.
2 - even from those who love/recommend another tire, I haven't really seen/heard anything negative about the Avon's (there are usually a few negatives on most tires - price, wear, time to warm up, lack of wear meter, etc - but again, I haven't heard anything bad about the Avon's).

The Avon's seem to be a good choice. I have had the Bridgestone's (BT57's and 010's), the new Metzeler Z6's, and am now riding on the Avon 45/46. Take it for what it is worth.

If you did a track day with the BT020 tires,
then I think you would like the Avon AV-45/46ST
For me the Avon's last about the same as the BT020.
