Happy New Year To All,
Last fall, just prior (500 miles) to winter storage I had a factory CF
muffler installed on my 00 RS by my dealer.
Starting the bike this weekend I noticed it is leaking exhaust gas from the
joint between the carbon fibre body and the chrome,
metal cap on the inlet end which bolts to the pipe flange.
It's not the flange joint or copper sealing ring that is leaking.
Has anyone else had this problem ?
Can the muffler be dismantled and resealed ?
