Same with my dogs (a German Shepherd [dog] or Alsatian Shepherd, a
Rottwieler, and a Manchester Terrier).  All are goofs.  They're
well-trained, obedient, and intelligent (for the most part...).  They like
people but, as you stated, it's not a good idea to walk in the house
uninvited.
