Re: [ST] More dogs....

The dog thing does not always works well, about 4 yrs ago a drunk idiot
bat in hand, pushed his way past my wife into the house we just moved
into a month before to "collect" a debt from the crackhead that lived
there before us. My 90 lbs "momma" pitbull, her 65lbs daughter and
80lbs arctic wolf / malamute/ shepherd/ ??? hybrid mutt did not like
seeing the nice lady that feeds, walks them and lets them sleep in our
bed, pushed to the ground and kicked, so they did their best at turning
the intruder's hands, legs arms and face into hamburger. The worse
part was not trying to get the blood off the floors, wall, drapes, and
even ceiling, but keeping those great men from the Salt Lake County
Animal Services from killing my dogs for the "vicious attack" . It took
calls to the media, mayor, lawyer and and one of the most stressful
nights of my life to keep my babies alive. Ironically my lawyer said
that according to state law, if my wife would have, instead of trying
to stop the dogs before they killed him, gone to the room, pulled out
her walther P99 out of the safe and blown dudes head off, we would have
had not even half the trouble. Today we no longer have handguns, bought
a house in a much safer neighborhood outside of SLC animal services
jurisdiction and still have the dogs.
